The Alternative Board, TAB
is a national membership organization of CEOs, Presidents and business
owners who improve their businesses by attending monthly group meetings
guided by professional Facilitators trained in the TAB system. In addition
to the Board meetings, each member receives monthly private coaching
sessions with the Facilitator.
Membership
in The Alternative Board is exclusively by invitation only. Each Members of
TAB Groups are business owners, CEOs, presidents or managing partners who
run businesses in non-competing fields. 75-80% of the problems that come up
at meetings involve topics that all privately owned businesses have in
common, regardless of their type of business. The input that is received
from Members is of great value because no one is locked into any ones
industry’s way of thinking.
Although
many Members have a seasoned staff throughout their firm, they have found
that they can get unbiased and supportive responses when by meeting with
their peers at monthly TAB Meetings. They have nothing personally to gain
by telling each other what they think and no reason to hold back from being
totally honest.
TAB
Meetings allow Members to escape from the isolation of being the person at
the top of their company. Fellow Members are interested in each other’s
long-term personal and business success-“all for one and one for all”.
How
will I benefit from TAB?
At the monthly TAB Board meetings all members discuss their problems and
opportunities in a relaxed, confidential atmosphere. When you present a
problem or an opportunity to the group, the other members and your
Facilitator will offer practical solutions (rather than theory) and advice.
Each TAB
Board collectively has hundreds of years of business experience. The
diversity of backgrounds of the members will provide you with a
cross-fertilization of ideas that you’ll be able to apply to your business.
Who will
be my fellow TAB Group members?
We have a saying at TAB: “You have to be at the top to understand what life
at the top is all about.” Each TAB member operates a business in a field
that doesn’t compete with other members in his or her group, or is not in a
key vendor relationship with another group member.
Benefit
from the collective experience of other business leaders, without the expense
of a high-paid board.
